- Cut the desired length of 1” (I.D.) PVC pipe, adding an extra 6" (which will be hammered into the ground).
- Diagonally cut one end of the pipe at a 45° angle to form the spike.
- Cut a length of vinyl to cover the "above ground" stake, adding an extra 2" for shrinkage.
- Slide the vinyl over the stake that will be above ground.
- Use a heat gun to quickly shrink the vinyl.
- Trim any excess material at the top.
- Hammer the bottom 6" into the ground.
- Apply a 1¼" molded cap to the top of the stake.
